February: A Journey to Purpose

Set the stage for self-discovery with a calming ritual: a glowing candle, grounding gemstones, and moments of introspection.

The Shortest Month, The Greatest Opportunity to Discover Your Why

Some moments in life feel divinely timed—whispers from the universe nudging us toward something deeper. This February is one of those moments. With Saturn entering Aries on February 13, the cosmos is aligning in a rare and powerful way, opening a portal for self-discovery, purpose, and transformation.

The energy of this transit isn’t just about setting goals or making resolutions—it’s about uncovering your why. Your why is the reason you are here, the essence that makes you special and unique. It’s the thread that connects your passions, values, and impact on the world. And right now, the stars are giving us a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to tune in, listen, and embrace it.

I wrote this blog because I feel this moment deeply. I know what it’s like to seek clarity, to wonder if I’m truly aligned with my purpose. But I also know the power of discovering your why—the way it changes everything. And I want that for you.

This February, I invite you on a journey—not just of reflection, but of transformation. Over the next three weeks, we’ll work together to uncover your why through guided rituals, introspective journaling, and meaningful ceremonies. Because when you know your why, your life gains a new sense of clarity, direction, and fulfillment.

Let’s begin. The universe is waiting. 💫

Why Discovering Your Why Matters

When you live in alignment with your why, everything shifts. Life feels more purposeful, your decisions become clearer, and you start moving toward what truly fulfills you. Your why is the invisible thread that weaves together your passions, values, and life goals, turning them into something extraordinary—something uniquely yours.

As Simon Sinek, author of Start with WHY, puts it:

“Fulfillment comes when we live our lives on purpose.”

But fulfillment isn’t about how much you accomplish or how many tasks you check off a list. It’s about feeling connected to why you do what you do, waking up each day with a sense of purpose, and knowing you’re walking a path that’s truly yours.

This February, the stars are aligned to help you uncover that deeper purpose. Take this moment—this rare astrological window—to pause, reflect, and embrace the transformative journey of discovering your why. It’s already within you, waiting to be remembered. 💫

How My Why Changed My Life

Discovering my why was more than just a moment of clarity—it was a homecoming. It was the realization that my journey of self-discovery, my search for self-worth, and my passion for creating art were all deeply connected. My why isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am. It’s my North Star, the guiding force that keeps me aligned, purposeful, and inspired every single day.

At my core, I believe that self-discovery is transformative. I’ve walked the path of unraveling self-doubt, peeling back layers of uncertainty, and embracing the uniqueness of my own story. Through this journey, I found that art—whether through painting, jewelry, or creative expression—became my language, my way of processing emotions, and ultimately, my means of helping others find their own truth.

This is why I created The Art of Ceremony. It’s not just a jewelry line—it’s an invitation to self-discovery. Every gemstone carries an energy, every talisman holds a story, and every piece is designed to guide the wearer on their own path of empowerment, healing, and transformation.

When I create, I pour my why into every piece. My jewelry is a reflection of the journey I’ve taken—one of finding self-worth, embracing individuality, and honoring the magic within. Each talisman is a reminder that you, too, are on a profound journey—one that is uniquely yours and deeply meaningful.

Every time I reconnect with my why, it strengthens me. It reminds me why I do what I do, why I get up every morning excited to create, and why this work matters so much to me. My why is my anchor, my purpose, my gift to the world.

If you’re still searching for your why, know that it’s already within you, waiting to be uncovered. I share more about my journey on my About Me page—take a look to learn how it all began.

Your 3-Week Guide to Discovering Your Why

Week 1 (February 13–19): Reflect on Your Purpose

"The journey begins within."

As Saturn enters Aries, the cosmos invites us to pause, reflect, and realign with our true purpose. This is a week for deep introspection, a time to sit with yourself, listen to your inner voice, and begin to uncover the essence of your why.

This isn’t about pressure or perfection—it’s about openness and curiosity. Give yourself permission to explore without judgment. This is your time to reconnect with yourself in a way that feels safe, sacred, and honest.

How to Create Your Ceremony

Step 1: Prepare Your Sacred Space

Your environment plays a powerful role in shaping your energy. Creating a dedicated space for reflection can help you feel more present and open.

🔹 Find a Quiet Place – Choose a spot where you won’t be disturbed. If possible, create a space specifically for your self-discovery journey—this could be a small altar, a cozy nook, or simply a corner where you feel at peace.
🔹 Light a Candle – Fire symbolizes illumination and transformation. As you light your candle, set an intention: May this flame guide me toward clarity and purpose.
🔹 Hold Smoky Quartz – This powerful grounding stone helps you stay centered and connected to your inner truth. Hold it in your palm or place it near your journal as you write.
🔹 Enhance the Atmosphere – Play soft music, burn incense, diffuse essential oils—whatever helps you feel relaxed and introspective.

Step 2: Ground Yourself

Before diving into journaling, take a few minutes to connect with your body and breath.

🔹 Close your eyes and take three deep breaths, allowing your body to relax with each exhale.
🔹 Imagine roots extending from your feet into the earth, grounding you. Feel the stability beneath you, knowing you are safe and supported.
🔹 Visualize a warm golden light radiating from your heart, expanding with each inhale, filling you with clarity and self-awareness.

Step 3: Journal with Intention

Now that you’re centered, begin exploring the big questions about your purpose. Write freely—there’s no right or wrong answer.

Journal Prompts to Guide You:
💭 What moments in my life have brought me the most joy?
💭 When have I felt deeply fulfilled and alive?
💭 If I could do anything without limitations, what would it be?
💭 What patterns do I see in the experiences that light me up?

Take your time. Allow the words to flow without overthinking. Trust that the insights you need will come through.

Step 4: Close with Gratitude

Once you’ve journaled, take a few moments to honor what surfaced.

🔹 Write down three things you’re grateful for—related to your journey, your past experiences, or simply this moment of reflection.
🔹 Thank yourself for showing up and doing this work. Self-discovery takes courage. Acknowledge yourself for taking this step.
🔹 Blow out the candle with intention, as a symbolic act of completing this part of your journey, trusting that clarity will continue to unfold in the days ahead.

💡 Extra Tip: This week, revisit the introduction of Start with WHY by Simon Sinek. His insights on purpose will complement your reflections and help you dive deeper.

Why This Ceremony Matters

This practice isn’t just about journaling—it’s about creating space for clarity to emerge. When you dedicate time to self-reflection in a sacred way, you invite deeper awareness, healing, and alignment into your life.

As you move through the week, keep your journal nearby. New insights may come when you least expect them. This is just the beginning of uncovering your why.

🌿 Let this be the week you begin listening—really listening—to yourself.

Create a calming ritual with a glowing candle, grounding gemstones, and intentional journaling for self-discovery

Week 2 (February 20–26): Identify Your Core Values

"What matters most to you?"

Last week, you reflected on your why—the inner force that drives you. Now, it’s time to uncover the core values that shape your path. Your values are the foundation of your life’s purpose. They act as guideposts, helping you make decisions, set intentions, and live in alignment with your truth.

When you are clear on your values, everything in life starts to feel more intentional and fulfilling. This week’s ceremony will help you connect deeply with what truly matters to you.

How to Create Your Ceremony

Step 1: Prepare Your Sacred Space

🔹 Find a Quiet Place – Choose a space where you feel calm and can focus without distractions.
🔹 Set an Intention – As you begin, say aloud or silently:
“I am open to uncovering the values that guide my life. I allow my heart to show me what matters most.”
🔹 Arrange Meaningful Objects – Gather 5–10 items that represent qualities or values that feel significant to you. These could be:

  • A flower to symbolize growth

  • A book to represent wisdom and learning

  • A photo that reminds you of connection and love

  • A piece of jewelry or gemstone that holds personal meaning

Place these items in front of you, creating a visual representation of your values.

Step 2: Meditate on Your Values

Before writing, take a few moments to quiet your mind and connect with your intuition.

🔹 Close your eyes and take deep breaths, allowing your body to relax.
🔹 Gently observe each object you placed before you. Ask yourself:

  • What does this item represent to me?

  • Why is this value important in my life?

  • How does this value influence my decisions and actions?
🔹 Allow insights to arise naturally—there’s no rush. You may feel an emotional response to certain values, a sign that they hold deep meaning for you.

Step 3: Write Your Core Values

Now, begin writing down the values that resonate most deeply with you.

Journal Prompts to Guide You:
💭 What qualities do I admire most in myself and others?
💭 What brings me the most joy and fulfillment?
💭 When do I feel the most in alignment with my true self?
💭 What do I want to be known for?
💭 If I had to choose only three values to live by, what would they be?

List 5–10 core values that feel true and essential to your life. Some examples include:

  • Love

  • Authenticity

  • Creativity

  • Freedom

  • Connection

  • Growth

  • Spirituality

Next, reflect on your list:

  • Are my daily actions aligned with these values?

  • In what areas of my life am I living my values fully?

  • Where am I out of alignment? How can I make changes?

Step 4: Affirm & Anchor Your Values

Now that you’ve identified your values, it’s time to embody them.

🔹 Write a personal affirmation that reflects your values. Example:
“I live in alignment with love, authenticity, and creativity. Every choice I make honors my values.”
🔹 Hold one of your objects or a gemstone (such as clear quartz for clarity) and repeat your affirmation aloud.
🔹 Visualize yourself living in full alignment with your values—see yourself making choices, setting boundaries, and taking action based on what truly matters to you.

Why This Ceremony Matters

When you understand your core values, you create a life that feels deeply fulfilling and aligned. Studies show that people who live in alignment with their values experience greater happiness, resilience, and overall life satisfaction.

This week, keep your list of values visible—write them in your journal, place them on your mirror, or carry them with you. Whenever you face a decision, ask yourself:
"Does this align with my values?"

🌿 Let this be the week you start living fully in alignment with what matters most.

Week 3 (February 27–29): Clarify and Align Your Why

"Purpose without action is just a dream."

For the past two weeks, you’ve reflected on your purpose and identified your core values—the foundation of who you are. Now, it’s time to bring it all together and take action. Knowing your why is powerful, but living your why is transformational. This ceremony will help you articulate your why clearly and align your daily life with it.

Your why is the essence of what makes you unique. It’s the thread that connects your passions, values, and the impact you want to have on the world. This week, you’ll define it, embody it, and create a plan to live it.

How to Create Your Ceremony

Step 1: Prepare Your Sacred Space

🔹 Gather Meaningful Items – Surround yourself with objects that bring you joy and inspiration:

  • Photos that remind you of meaningful moments

  • Keepsakes that symbolize your passions

  • Books, quotes, or affirmations that inspire you

  • Amethyst for clarity and intuition
🔹 Light a Candle – As you light it, set an intention:
“I am ready to fully embrace my purpose and take aligned action.”
🔹 Create a Comfortable Atmosphere – Play music, sip tea, or do anything that makes you feel present and connected.

Step 2: Journal to Uncover Your Why

Now, let’s bring your reflections from previous weeks together.

Journal Prompts to Guide You:
💭 What ties my passions and values together?
💭 What brings me deep fulfillment?
💭 What impact do I want to leave on others?
💭 When I imagine my most aligned, purposeful life, what does it look like?

Allow your answers to flow naturally—write without judgment. The words that come through are your inner truth speaking.

Step 3: Write Your Why Statement

Once you’ve reflected, distill everything into a simple and heartfelt statement. Your why should be clear, inspiring, and deeply personal.

Examples of a Why Statement:
💫 “My why is to inspire connection and self-discovery in others.”
💫 “I create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered.”
💫 “I use my creativity to bring beauty, healing, and transformation into the world.”

Take your time crafting this statement—it should feel authentic and ignite something in you.

Step 4: Create an Action Plan

Knowing your why is powerful, but putting it into action is what makes it real. This week, you’ll design a simple but intentional action plan to align your daily life with your purpose.

🔹 Write down 3–5 tangible steps to live your why. Some examples:

  • If your why is about connection, schedule regular calls with loved ones.

  • If your why is about creativity, set aside time each week for a passion project.

  • If your why is about inspiring others, start sharing your story—through writing, speaking, or social media.
🔹 Commit to a weekly reflection practice – At the end of each week, ask yourself: How did I live my why? Where can I deepen my alignment?
🔹 Integrate your why into your daily life – Find small but meaningful ways to bring your purpose into everyday moments.

Step 5: Seal Your Why with Intention

This is a sacred moment—a commitment to yourself and your purpose.

🔹 Hold your Amethyst or meaningful object close to your heart. Close your eyes and take deep breaths, feeling your why resonate within you.
🔹 Read your Why Statement aloud—own it, claim it, believe it.
🔹 Visualize yourself fully living your why – See yourself making aligned choices, feeling fulfilled, and creating the impact you desire.
🔹 Blow out your candle with intention, trusting that this moment has sealed your commitment.

Why This Ceremony Matters

This is where your journey shifts from reflection to embodiment. By defining your why and taking action, you set a new course for your life—one that feels authentic, meaningful, and deeply fulfilling.

Science Speaks: Studies show that visualization techniques significantly boost motivation and increase the likelihood of achieving goals. When you see yourself living your why, you start to make it a reality.

This isn’t the end of the journey—it’s just the beginning. Keep your why close, revisit it often, and let it guide you forward.

🌿 Let this be the week you fully step into your purpose.

A Month to Transform Your Life

February isn’t just another month—it’s a cosmic invitation. A chance to step away from the noise, pause, and turn inward. The universe has aligned to help you remember who you truly are, to uncover the unique spark within you, and to embrace the purpose that has been quietly waiting for you to claim it.

For me, discovering my why was life-changing—not because it gave me all the answers, but because it gave me a deeper connection to myself. It became my foundation, my anchor, my North Star when life felt uncertain. It’s the reason I create, the heartbeat behind The Art of Ceremony, and the guiding force in everything I do.

But here’s something I’ve learned: discovering your why isn’t a destination, it’s a practice. Some days, it will feel crystal clear. Other days, it may feel buried under self-doubt and distraction. But your why never disappears. It’s always there, waiting for you to return to it—waiting to guide you back home to yourself.

This February, I invite you to give yourself the gift of this journey. Let Saturn’s energy remind you to pause, reflect, and take action toward a life of meaning. Be patient with yourself. Explore with curiosity, not judgment. Trust that your why is already within you, waiting to be uncovered.

Simon Sinek says, “People don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it.” But here’s the thing—your why isn’t just for others. It’s for you. It’s the magic that makes you extraordinary, the fire that fuels your passions, the compass that gives your life depth and direction. It is the light in your soul.

When you take the time to discover your why, you’re giving yourself something priceless: a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and deeply fulfilling. So let this be the month you say yes to yourself. Yes to reflection, yes to discovery, yes to living the life you were always meant to live.

I can’t wait to hear your story. Share your why with me—your reflections, your rituals, your breakthroughs. Let’s celebrate this journey together, because your why matters. And this February, it’s time to own it, embrace it, and live it.

💫 The universe is waiting. Let’s begin. Your Journey Starts Now
